Completed the Pre-construction for the renovation of the plaza and the associated 120 room's. The property is small and the plaza rooms are constructed on top of the parking garage. The project was planned and carried out to limit the impact on the rest of the facility, all the construction was carried out in the plaza area and the parking garage only.
The Depot - Tucson, Arizona
As a Construction Manager for the 6 story 98
unit Tucson complex we were responsible for
the construction administration throughout
the project. Twice a week project walks and
meetings were held and the results were
reports on progress to date, schedule and
cost impacts were sent to the Owner who
was located in the Northwest.
Crown Plaza Hotel -Glendale,Arizona
The construction of this facility encompassed
the entire hotel public areas in a fully
operational property. We utilized a crew
familiar with the hospitability industry to
ensure no impact on the occupants. In
coordination with the
hotel management we
scheduled occupancy
and construction together
in order to make this a
seamless installation.

James Hotel - Scottsdale, Arizona
The construction of this boutique hotel for an ownership group located in New York was completed in 6 months. The project consisted of the Rooms remodel, 125 rooms with all new electrical fixtures, new wall coverings and complete bathroom remodels. The public building construction consisted of a remodel to the entire lobby, ballrooms, kitchen and the construction of the Fiamma Restaurant. The exterior was completely renovated to include 2 pools and all new hardscape, landscape and a new 5000 square foot Gym.
Hotel Indigo- Scottsdale, ArizonaThis facility was an existing Hampton Inn in south Scottsdale that was renovated into an Indigo Hotel. The facility received an entire makeover of every guest room and all the public areas. The introduction of the exterior brand standard murals through the City of Scottsdale was a great challenge. The construction contract included the loading of the FF&E and the OS&E and the hotel opened on time. |
Miraval Resorts - Tucson, ArizonaThis facility was in the design phase and we worked in the capacity of a Construction Manager. Responsibilities included reporting directly to the hotel ownership group on the progress of completing the design programming for the construction project. As a part of the programming for the facility it was decided to build a phasing plan to ensure that the facility would remain operational and the impact to the guests would be minimal. While in the capacity of Construction Manager we remodeled each of the 120 guest rooms complete with new showers, bathroom fixtures and countertops, new wall coverings in the guest rooms and all new FF&E. The project was completed in phases as the guest rooms are situated in Pods with the guestroom doors opening into a centralized courtyard. The rooms were taken down one pod at a time with the construction teams entering the pods from the service entrances to minimized guest interaction. |
